Oh well. Here are my goals updated! It's kinda sad, but whatever. College is good, this is easily my craziest semester so far. Like, I'm doing something all the freaking time. Except for today, which was mercifully a slow, lazy Sunday. Thank the Lord. :P

* Complete NaNoWriMo 2009: Aaaaaaaaaand she's off! 3,127 words and counting. :D

* Reach 30k on Shurei's book: This totally won't be completed. At all. And I'm okay with that. :P

* Write 1 short story: DONE!

* Read 7 books: 5/7 completed! w00t w00t!

* Keep up with currently watching anime: Now that I've finished all of my currently airing series except for Hetalia and Umineko, I'm having an easier time keeping up. lol

* Keep up with currently watching anime: Goin' well! I have time almost every morning to watch an episode, so it's nice to actually be able to.

* Keep up with currently reading manga: Again, going well... I've decided, however, to not read Kodomo no Jikan here. I'm sure ya'll can guess why. :P

* Finish/catch up to 1 on hold manga series: Not happening yet... I'm thinking of finished Samurai Girl Real Bout High School finally though.

* Finish Neo Angelique Abyss: ...I changed this to a particular series because otherwise this would go on hold, and it really makes no sense to do that... XD

Haha, yes, I'm doing it again. Having a goals list really helps me be motivated, for some odd reason. Whatever. These are going to be pretty simple, hopefully, since I tend to have a lot less free time during the semester. Also, this isn't really "fall" objectives... more like fall semester, hah. So yeah, it goes from August 24 - December 10. :D

I know I'm not gonna finish editing Cenna's book in the four-ish days I have left before I go to college. *sighs* It's disappointing, but I'm pleased with myself for getting all the other goals completed. I've decided I'm going to make myself a goals list for the coming semester as well; it helps me stay motivated, especially towards writing outside of NaNo. I'll put it up either today or tomorrow. But for now, one last time, here are my goals! I've included my thoughts/ratings on them as well, all of which are under lj-cuts because they turned out really loooong. >_>

* Finish editing Cenna's book: 208/324 pages. I've reached the point where I need to really start adding stuff, such as background on Vaen, Lyr, and Keitral, as well as figure out some minor plot holes, and not concentrate on the sudden-too fast romance between Cenna and Vaen, so this is going on the backburner until next summer. At least I've gotten everything else pretty much edited.

* Read at least 20 books I haven't read before: I read a lot of really good books this summer, so my ratings are fairly high (which is odd for me, since I tend to rate books fairly critically). This is all based on a 1 to 5 scale, 5 being the highest. Books with * mean I highly recommend them. :)

I hope for it to be 100k+ words, so it wouldn't be a problem getting 50k, but I like the idea of starting completely new... Well, we'll see. :)

* Get at least 20k of a "new" novel: I'm really happy about this one. Shurei is a cool main character; I really like her. I feel like I need some serious character development for her kinda-sorta-maybe love interest, since he's appeared in... maybe two scenes? But yeah. I'm pleased so far.

* Write at least one new short story: Oh man. Mermaids. TWISTED and fucked up mermaids. But it was fuuuuuun. :D

* Get all As and maintain my 4.0 GPA in summer classes: DONEDONEDONEDONEDONE

* Catch up to the follow manga: FMA, Zombie-Loan, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles, Eyeshield 21: Some of the best series I've read. I'm amused that three out of the four have 10/10 from me. XD

I was fiddling around on my goodreads page and adding some that I'd forgotten about... this thing basically has every book I've read since I was, oh, about ten I guess. So slightly less than ten years ago.

Current total of books I've read: 450.

What. The. Crap.

Haha, I'm kinda amazed, to be honest. I mean, holy shit, that's a lot of books...! I guess I'm way more of a bookworm than I thought. Haha...

I totally can't wait until I reach 1,000~ :D

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (9/10), xxxHOLiC: Shunmuki (8/10), Tsubasa Chronicle: Tokyo Revelations (9/10, Syaoran~~), and La Corda d'Oro ~secondo passo~ (6/10, why must they continue to deny Len/Kaho?). All of them are movies/OVAs, thus proving my lameness. BUT! I'm totally working on a series right now: Skip Beat! EVERYONE SHOULD WATCH THIS SERIES NOW. It's amazing. I'm about halfway through, and already it's one of my top favorites. :DDD

Okay. I just really, really feel like ranting. Cursing will ensue.

So, you guys might remember me mentioning a while back, when I got back from spring semester, that I had had a boyfriend. Matt. Yeah, well. That didn't end well.

I mourned. I cried. I sulked around the house for a while. The day after we broke up, I this big hole was in my chest and heart and soul and I thought it would never heal.

But it's been about three months now, and I've gotten over it. That hole went away. I don't miss him anymore. In fact, I'm glad he's out of my life. He was an ass and I just didn't realize it. So now I'm either "meh" or "he's such a bastard" about him now.

Right now, it's the he's such a bastard mood. Why? Because he has on his facebook that he's in a relationship.

Yeah, I was expecting it all along. I mean, I pretty much figured out that he was interested in this girl about two weeks after we broke up, and had suspicions before that. So yeah, this makes me a little sad. Mostly because I wanna be the one to find someone else first and to say HAH I CAN BE HAPPY WITHOUT YOU JERKFACE.

Oh Lord. I miss having a boy. ;_; I don't miss him, just having someone. It's... different. I loved it. And now he's off and being happy. And you know what really pisses me off?

He's only with her because she'll sleep with him. She's a slut. I said I wouldn't -- not yet. I told him straight up when he looked like he was thinking of moving in that direction. And he broke up with me two days later. THAT IS NOT A COINCIDENCE.

But do you know what really pisses me off? Again, because I'm a stalker and apparently masochistic, I went back to his facebook page. His new slutfriend-- I mean, girlfriend, wrote on his wall that she "loves him too." ...okay, what. During our breakup, I asked him if he loved me. I figured it couldn't hurt to know; my heart was already broken, and I was really just curious, since I loved him and everything. He told me no, he didn't, but he could if only we weren't so incompatible (you mean, "since you won't have sex with me and that's all I care about"). So apparently he loves her.

Seriously, Matt, what the FUCK? You love her because she's willing to sleep with you? Because she's done drugs and drinks like you do?

You're such a fucker. I hope you know that. You are a fucking manwhore. I hope you get syphilis.

SEX ISN'T EVERYTHING. Just because a girl says she isn't ready, doesn't mean she doesn't love you, doesn't mean you shouldn't love her. Closeness and intimacy can be achieved without sex.

But you didn't want that, did you? You just want pleasure.

Well okay. I get it now. I've had my heart broken, and, in a way, I'm thankful for it. It's made me grow up. A lot. It's made me see which guys are the good ones and which the bad ones. It's shown me that sometimes people really, really fuck up. It's shown me that I can think I won't ever heal, but I know now that I can get through, and be stronger because of it.

So thank you, Matt. The months I was with you were seriously some of the best months of my life. I loved you.

But now I know you were just pretending. Play-acting. And I thank God every day that you fucked up before I could get even more involved in you and your shit.

* Finish editing Cenna's book: Going pretty well! I'm at 190/324 pages. I think I'll actually finish! ...maybe. I haven't actually hit the part where I need to seriously change stuff/add in new scenes. Right now it's about 90.5k words long. I'm aiming for 100k. ^^; Right now, Cenna's already the longest finished book I've written. w00t!

* Read at least 20 books I haven't read before: 15/20 done, working on both 16 and 17 now. :)

* Finish at least 5 series on my on hold anime list: So close! I've finished Maria+Holic (7/10, very funny stuff), Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu (7/10, really good for a few episodes, but got a little too cliche at the end), To-Love-Ru (4/10, absolute rubbish), and Black Cat (6/10, not as good as the manga). I only have Jigoku Shoujo to finish now.

XD Also got around to finishing Black Cat. Awesomeness! I'm really in a shoujo mood right now after all this shounen though... hmm... too bad Mixed Vegetables isn't online anywhere.
